South Dakota Chislic Festival announces 2021 musical entertainment.

The entertainment for the 2021 South Dakota Chislic Festival will feature the return of Mogen’s Heroes, the headliner from the 2019 festival. Mogen’s Heroes, inducted into the SD Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, are known for their three-part harmonies and having fun making music. “We love playing at the Chislic Festival and we’re looking forward to seeing many friends in Freeman on July 31,” said John Mogen. Also taking the amphitheater stage are area favorites: Uncle Roy and the Boys (playing hits from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and beyond); Sioux Falls Country Tempo (classic country); Maggie In The Meantime (Celtic Folk music); The Jim River Band. Admission, parking and entertainment are free. To learn more about the festival — which will be held July 31 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Freeman Prairie Aroretum — or to sponsor or volunteer, visit sdchislicfestival.com or the festival Facebook and Twitter pages @South Dakota Chislic Festival.
